Styled Soul
Styled Soul is a creative wellness platform reimagining how Black women access care, joy, and community.
Rooted in storytelling, beauty, and data-driven advocacy, Styled Soul creates spaces for healing that are culturally grounded, emotionally safe, and aesthetically affirming.
We exist because far too many Black women feel unseen, unheard, and underserved in traditional healthcare systems. The statistics reflect this — but so do our lived stories.

Through curated events, wellness tools, journaling, art, and storytelling, we are creating new ways of being. We center softness as a form of resistance. We honour style as a healing language. And we believe that joy, rest, and voice are not luxuries — they are vital forms of care.
Styled Soul is for the woman becoming whole — again and again.

Our Mission & Vision
Mission
Styled Soul creates transformative spaces where Black women gather to heal, express, and reclaim themselves through storytelling, style, and community-rooted wellness.
Grounded in the belief that beauty, care, and health are our birthrights, we use storytelling and creativity to address the emotional and systemic gaps Black women face in accessing affirming, culturally responsive healthcare.
Through our gatherings, journals, art, and conversations, we affirm that softness is not a luxury , it’s a form of resistance, healing, and survival.
Vision
We envision a world where Black women no longer have to choose between survival and softness. A world where care — physical, emotional, spiritual — is accessible, culturally grounded, and community-centered.
Styled Soul is building a sisterhood where storytelling and style become tools for both personal rebirth and systemic change. Through creativity, we imagine new ways of being — and new models of care — that center Black women’s wholeness, health, and joy.

A Personal Journey of Advocacy
I created Styled Soul because I believe in softness as a form of resistance.
As a caregiver, a mother, an immigrant, and a woman who’s walked through systems that too often silence our voices, I know how much we need spaces where we are seen — fully, softly, and beautifully.
Styled Soul is not just a project — it’s a promise. A promise to hold space for Black women to tell our stories, reclaim joy, embrace our femininity, and heal out loud. Through wellness, style, and storytelling, we are building a new way forward — one circle, one soul, one story at a time.
I’m a PhD researcher in Urban Health, a fashion designer and makeup artist, and a deep believer in what happens when women gather.
Thank you for being here.
This is only the beginning.
